PokerStars is wasting no time now that it’s back in the USA.
After a soft launch that included less than 500 players earlier this week, PokerStars is already getting some rave reviews from players in the region.
The New Jersey edition of the site will of course be cut off from the rest of the world so PokerStars decided to release a tournament schedule specific for NJ today.
The official launch date is still set for March 21, 2016, so you can expect a rather large boost to the player pool on that day.
17 Daily Tournaments, Six Themes
To start PokerStars will offer 17 daily tournaments, which all fall into six categories:
The Daily Bigs
This is a tournament that will run four times every day with buy-ins of $5, $10, $20 and $50.
KO Fever
The KO Fever is a standard knock-out tournament that will also run four times each day with buy-ins of $5, $10, $15 and $50 in both six and nine-handed versions. Every player you knock out will earn you a bounty.
The Hot Turbos
Turbo events that run four times every day with buy-ins of $5, $10, $30 and $50. Available in six and nine-handed flavors.
The Change-Up
Change-up tournaments are all about games other than No-Limit Hold’em. There will be a $5 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo event, a $20 Pot-Limit Omaha tournament and a $15 Seven-Card Stud tourney.
The Midnight Express
The Midnight Express is a one-off $20 tournament that takes place at 11 p.m. every night. It’s a hyper-turbo tournament.
The $100 Nightly Stars
This is the biggest Daily Tournament with a $100 buy-in. It takes place at 7 p.m. every night. It also offers a guaranteed prize pool of $10,000.
Sunday Majors Schedule
The Sunday Majors will also be making a triumphant return to the USA, albeit significantly smaller.
