It appears PokerStars is poised to make a triumphant return to U.S. soil if you’re going by Senator Ray Lesniak.

Earlier today Lesniak Tweeted, “@PokerStars launch will spark an AC revival. Stay tuned for a major announcement.”

Lesniak later reiterated that an announcement would be made in the coming weeks regarding PokerStars and Atlantic City. He also said the announcement would be bigger than anyone imagined.

The senator went on to imply that New Jersey poker sites (or at least PokerStars) would be opening up its player pools so that US costumers can finally compete against the rest of the world.

PokerStars Rumors Building Momentum

For the last few weeks there have been numerous rumors about PokerStars potentially returning to the US. PokerStars even invited former costumers in the New Jersey area for two “open house” sessions at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Jersey City.

PokerStars has also been busy trademarking many of its famous terms and logos in the US including “We Are Poker” and “Zoom Poker”.

The company has yet to make any statement regarding Atlantic City but Lesniak sure appears convinced PokerStars will return soon.
