While online poker players around the world gear up for the oncoming SCOOP, players in New Jersey (and Nevada) have their own big poker tournament series to look forward to.
Starting Sunday, April 12, the 2015 Spring Poker Series on WSOP.com will offer eight exclusive tournaments and pay out $100,000 in guarantees.
Action runs right through until the following Sunday, April 19, with one big event each day and buy-ins ranging from $10 to $200.
The week-long series is bookended by two marquee events - the $200 No-Limit Hold'em kickoff event with a $30k guarantee and the $200 NL finale with a $40k guarantee.
Sandwiched inbetween are Turbo, Super Turbo and Six-Handed events along with a PLO event.
Parallel Series Running in Nevada
The Spring Poker Series is the second in WSOP.com's exclusive Series of Online Championships which include the Winter Classic, the WSOP Online Championships and the Fall Poker Festival.

Winners of each main event and the Online championship leaderboard will receive WSOP.com championship rings.
While the series is running in New Jersey a parallel series (with the same $100k in guarantees) will also run for the week in Nevada, where WSOP.com is part of the Multi-State Poker Network that includes players from Delaware.
Players must be physically located within the borders of each respective state to participate.
